NSW has reported nine new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8.00pm, with three of the cases not yet linked to any known sources.

Two of the new cases are returned international travellers, and four were locally acquired close contacts of known cases.
The three with no known source are under investigation, and two of these are close contacts of each other, NSW Health said.
One of the cases was a student of Tangara School for Girls in Cherrybrook, which has been closed for cleaning and contact tracing is continuing. The source of the student's infection is under investigation.
"In the past week, nine cases have not been linked to known cases, indicating that COVID-19 is circulating in the community," Dr Jeremy McAnulty said.
"It's extremely important we all play our part in prevention all the time. COVID-19 can be a serious disease."
Of the known clusters:
- 111 cases are linked to Thai Rock Wetherill Park
- 55 cases linked to the funeral events in Bankstown and surrounding suburbs, including 15 associated with Mounties in Mount Pritchard.
- 4 cases linked to Potts Point, including 28 cases linked to the Apollo Restaurant and six cases linked with the Thai Rock Restaurant Potts Point (two cases attended both).
There are currently 107 COVID-19 cases being treated by NSW Health. There are nine COVID-19 patients in intensive care and six are ventilated. Eighty-six per cent of cases are being treated by NSW Health are in non-acute, out-of-hospital care.
There were 24,421 tests reported in the 24-hour reporting period, compared with 27,937 in the previous 24 hours.
Meantime in Victoria, Premier Danial Andrews has announced that there were 466 new cases, marking the third day in a row of cases in the 400s.
There were also 12 new deaths announced today: one man in his 30s, two men in their 70s, two men and three women in their 80s, and four women in their 90s. Six were linked to aged care.
There have now been a total of 193 deaths in Victoria.
