ULYSSES CLUB

Seven riders ventured out for the day mid last week and took in the road to Oura and then Wantabadgery. From Wantabadgery the next part of the trip was over the low level bridge to Tumbalong and Adelong finally stopping at The Pie in the Sky Bakery in Tumut for refreshments.

Having satisfied the inner man, the group went on to Talbingo where lunch and a chat was the order of the day. It was good to see Ian back on his bike after his recent health scare.

The usual Saturday morning coffee get-together was well attended and the Toy Run Committee did a fundraiser at the South City Shopping Centre.

Another fundraiser will be held at the Kooringal Mall this coming Saturday and at the Marketplace in Baylis Street on November 16.

The Toy Run is on Saturday, December 7, departing the Jubilee Park car park at 9am. The run is free of charge, but riders are requested to bring a new toy to put in the collection. Riders must be licensed and bikes must have current registration and be currently roadworthy.

Last Sunday was not an official ride day, but with perfect weather holding out for the day there were many bikes zipping around and about.

Our next ride is the Dee and Guy ride leaving Maccas at 9am on November 3 followed by the Altina Park ride on November 17. Until then, ride safe.
