Hi, my fiance and I have been together for almost five years.
Prior to meeting me, he was involved in a relationship for a year with another girl who is now engaged to his best friend.
His best friend has now asked him to be his best man at his wedding and be part of the day.
I am feeling really uncomfortable with him doing this. After all, he was during his past sleeping with the intended bride to be.
Would it be okay to ask him not to do this?

As unpalatable as this situation may be, I don't think you really have grounds to ask your fiance to refuse his friend the request to be his best man.
What is done is done.
And obviously both the bride and groom have moved on from the situation.
Maybe you need to move on also.
I do understand your feelings.
Whilst it seems everybody has a sexual history with others, we don't necessarily want to be up close and personal with them.
I do wonder how your fiance will continue his friendship with his mate if you two ladies do not resolve to forget the past and move on with the future.
These things are never easy but let's be honest here, he was in a relationship with her before he met you.
I suggest you try to make the best of it.
You're the one he chose in the long run.
