Your thumbs up, thumbs down

THUMBS UP

A big thumbs up to the two people who were collecting litter early Tuesday morning on the sides of Pine Gully Road.

This area looked very secondhand but now it looks great.

THUMBS DOWN

Thumbs down to the McDonald's take away purchasers who think roadsides are their personal rubbish tip.

THUMBS UP

Thumbs Up to the Wagga Wagga Breast Cancer Group.

They ran a very successful Mother's Day raffle. The winners of their raffle were Noeline Pledger and Karen O'Shea.

These funds raised help people in our community with cancer.

THUMBS DOWN

As an elderly person, try getting Wagga council to remove an old mattress.

Its response: "Sorry we don't include mattresses in the annual collection scheme." NO WONDER there are so many mattresses lying about in our council streets. Shame on you Wagga council.
