I have been married for eight years. My husband is cheating and lying about it.

A number of times his mobile has rung and he runs off into another room to answer it, when questioned he gets defensive. I recently saw a couple of messages that were clearly from another female, with much more than normal friendship in the offering.

Once again when questioned he got defensive, stormed off and made me the baddie for days. I'm not sure what to do any more. I know he is cheating.

You make no mention of children so this is pretty cut and dried. Unless you like being disrespected and used I don't understand why you stay! Move on, kick this guy to the kerb and find a man that knows about fidelity, loyalty and caring for his mate. Never settle for less than you deserve.
