WAGGA CITY GOLF CLUB

STRONG and gusty winds made life interesting for the ladies as they competed in last Tuesday's stroke event. Lyn Donohoe handled the weather admirably when she scored 74 nett to take out Division 1, from Kitty Howe, 77 nett. In Division 2, Jan Marks also toughed it out for a score of 74 nett, beating Una Pocock by a shot, while Sandra Mellen collected the Division 3 voucher with 77 nett, from Fay Baker 78 nett. NTP's to Monica Kember (Div 1), Carmel Pearce (Div 2) and Sandra Mellen (Div 3). Ball Comp to 83 nett.
