A VERY big Thumbs Down to Channel 82 for taking off Days of our Lives and the Young and the Restless. Why won’t you listen to what people want? There is more to NSW than Sydney.
THUMBS UP
THUMBS Up to the 300 people who braved the cold and windy conditions at Lake Albert, to take part in the annual Wagga Wagga White Ribbon Lake Walk.
It’s people like this that support these community awareness events, that target the ever increasing issue of domestic and family violence.
The shocking figure of one woman on average per week across Australia, dying at the hands of an intimate partner, shows that the community have had enough of this abhorrent crime.
Well done to all who attended the Lake Walk, (especially the young people) who were prepared, 'to stand up, speak out and act to prevent men's violence against women.'
THUMBS UP
THUMB up to Fiona, Sturt and Kelly from Freedom Pools. Kelly who is always so professional arrived to help with our pool whilst my husband is recovering from surgery – thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
