THANKS to all who attended the working bee on Saturday morning. John Dixon and David Xuereb did a great job preparing the butts and it is looking great.
Graham and John finished the Gyprock in the clubhouse, Phil whipper snipped the mounds and around the clubhouse, Ben and Hubert mowed and Scott and JohnG cut the firewood and rehung the score boards.
Thank you to everyone. I believe Rob and David are doing a quick plumbing repair during the week.
During the lunch break the rain came down and did not abate till about 2.30pm. For the few that stayed on we eventually had some good conditions to shoot a 700Y match in.
Neville was on fire and had two great stages to take out F Class and the Handicap. Scott and Dave had a close tussle in Target rifle again.
Prize Meeting – August 18 and 19.
Looks like we should get a good number of shooters attending.
The Fishing Club is providing markers so we will need to provide butts officers to supervise. Please assist on the day.

Ulysses
A RECORD was set last Wednesday for the shortest mid-week ride ever. From home to Billy’s and then home again. The weather pulled them up with a vengeance, so maybe we will have better luck today.
Meet and Greet was a modest affair on Saturday but still enjoyed over a nice hot cup of coffee along with a muffin.
There is a ride on this coming Sunday and it will leave McDonalds Edward Street car park at 9.30am.
I can’t tell you the destination, just turn up and find out. I must remind all riders to always arrive at the departure site with a full tank, there is nothing worse than having someone holding up the works while they doodle about getting fuel.
Also it is a good idea to carry a flask of water, particularly in the warmer months which we hope are looming.
Next Tuesday will be our Monthly Branch meeting to be held in the Radio Club Rooms in Small Street. Doors open at 7pm and the meeting gets under way at 7.30pm.
Supper is always available which will set you back $2 and a raffle is always held to bolster branch funds and, of course, offer some great prizes.
The next major event on our calendar is the Tri Branch get together at Yackandandah at the end of the month on the 31st. If you intend going give Bill Allott a call on 0417 652 974.
The Ulysses Club web site has just been overhauled and details regarding the Rally in Victoria next year will be posted shortly. Keep your eyes peeled
Give our National Office a call on 1300 134 123 for any further information on the Ulysses Club or you may contact our Branch Secretary on 0413 586 196.
