The day started at Wagga and morning tea at Wardles Truffle farm near Tumbarumba. The owners, Donna and David, explained how the dog Jess sniffs around and finds the truffle and digs it out.
Then we journeyed onto the blueberry farm where we learnt about the blueberries how they grow and are processed.
Jams and sauces wine and chocolates were available to purchase.
Then to Tumbarumba for lunch and on the way home to the Pioneer Women’s Hut. A great day enjoyed by all.
