THUMBS Up to Wagga City Council for implementing best practice waste management, when they introduced the FOGO weekly collection. After watching Q&A, and the War on Waste over two weeks, it was pleasing to realise how forward thinking our councillors and staff have been. After hearing the statistics on recycling and waste management we should all feel proud of the contribution we are making to the War on Waste.
THUMBS UP
THUMBS Up to all the vets who offered half-pricing desexing during July. Every single pet that is desexed means less unwanted and feral cats and dogs running around our communities, damaging property and posing a risk to wildlife, other pets and sometimes even people.
THUMBS UP
THUMBS Up to the Wagga Livestock Marketing Centre and GJ Hulm principal, Isaac Hill for again putting this region on the map for selling the highest priced extra-heavy lambs in Australia with a value of $301.20.
THUMBS UP
THUMBS Up to Benny Barton of Wagga for his beautiful blood moon photographs on Instagram and were taken from locations in the Riverina.
