VINNIES REFUGEE HOMEWORK PROGRAM: Vinnies is looking for more volunteers for its Refugee Homework Programs. There are have two programs:  Monday Program at Turvey Park Guide Hall in Sunshine Avenue from 3.15pm to 4.45pm. This program caters to Turvey Park Primary School students.  Wednesday Program at Mount Austin Primary School runs from 2.40pm to 4pm in the School Library. Both programs run for about 6 weeks.  Volunteers do not need teaching experience, just a willingness to help children with their homework and improve their English and maths. Volunteers are given training and must complete a Working with Children check.  Volunteers do not have to be available for a whole year, some flexibility in attendance is accommodated.
