What is your favourite thing about Wagga Wagga?
The balance between city and country, between education and the workforce, and between modern and historic.
Regardless of what you are in search of, or what the future may hold, Wagga Wagga has a balance that ensures everybody's needs are met.
Name a book or film that has inspired you. Why did it inspire you?
Harry Potter. It’s my favourite book and movie!
It has inspired me from a young age. Although, on the surface, it is a tale about magic, it also encompasses stories of overcoming adversity.
They’re stories that inspire you to think that there is a story out there for everyone, and stories which focus on one of the most important components of a happy life - friends!
If you could interview any famous person (past or present) who would you choose and why?
I would interview the Queen. She has been the reigning queen for 66 years. Her knowledge would far exceed that of many others.
She has been a woman in power throughout the many generational changes towards women in the workforce, and I would relish the opportunity to understand the effects that this has had on herself and her role.
If you could change one thing about Wagga Wagga, what would it be and why?
I would change the positioning of the university.
To bring the campus to a more central location would encourage more community involvement by students and allow for a greater range of opportunities to be more immediately available.
However, I recognise the university's wonderful agricultural presence, and would not wish to potentially harm that.
There is not a great deal I would change about Wagga Wagga, as I feel 'change' is more about going with the flow and correcting problems as they arise.
If you could do one thing without repercussions, what would you do and why?
I would make myself prime minister. I do not understand the vast majority of political business, I do know that I am a 'blank slate' and I am willing to learn.
I think the ability to accept that you yourself have flaws is something that politics is currently lacking. I want to learn and grow, and I want to have the power to make things better.
Who inspires you most, and why?
My mother inspires me because through all of the hard times which she has encountered in life, she has made it out stronger, and always acted in her children's best interests.
Why did you join the Miss Wagga Wagga Quest?
I joined the Miss Wagga Wagga Quest because I want to be a voice for all young women and girls in Wagga Wagga.
I want to hear and acknowledge them, I want to demonstrate to them how much women can achieve, and I want to display to my community what can be achieved.
