Riverina Travelling Bowls
HOLBROOK Ex-Serviceman’s Bowling Club was going to be our host, and the risk of rain changed our plan. All was in place for a great day of playing a Scroungers Event with a warm welcome extended to Riverina Travelling Bowlers, our members really looking forward in sharing the hospitality of the Holbrook locals. The risk of rain dampened our spirit, the forecasted rain about 50mm on Sunday, lead to the decision to postpone the event. Decisions on Saturday in consultation with Phil Swanson President of the Holbrook Men’s Bowling Club took into account the predicted rain as a risk so a wise decision was made, to postpone the event to a later date (to be announced).
Riverina Travelling Bowlers next event will be held at Yerong Creek Bowling club on the Sunday, April 22. Paul Flinn, president of the club, and his team are preparing for a great event, and extends a warm welcome to all Riverina Travelling Bowlers and visitors to experience the great hospitality. Clayto’s Bistro will be open and a planned a special two meat roast with veggies lunch, coupled with bowls and jackpot, all for $20. For further information call Paul on 0428 824 078.
