Edyta Wrobel, who now calls Wagga home, was on hand at the Wagga City Library to talk to members, along with the CWA’s state international officer Joy Granger.
The CWA Riverina group’s cooks and handicrafters have also found out whose entries will be going to the annual state conference at Armidale next month.
In addition to individual prizes, there were awards for branch.
Oura took out the Burkinshaw trophy for cookery, while the winner of the handicraft trophy was Galore.
Susan Creek of the Pleasant Hills branch took honours for both the champion piece and the creativity award.
The state conference will be held from April 30
