COUNTRY Women’s Association is back into full swing and the Riverina Group Council meeting was held in Wagga recently.

Matt Holt, Visitor Economy Officer from Wagga Council, spoke on tourism in Wagga and what council are doing to attract people to the city. 

Willans Hill School has been chosen for the Group Project in 2018.

Branches will be raising money for equipment for the school.

Bronny Taylor MP Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Premier and Southern NSW, will be speaking with CWA members on Friday, March 23 at Coolamon CWA Rooms.

Group International Day will be held at Coolamon on April 9.

The country of study this year is Poland

It was also reported that $6000 has been given to the Fred Hollows Foundation for eyesight surgery in  Nepal.
