First prize in the popular annual fundraiser is a Toyota vehicle valued at $50,000.

Second and third prize winners will take away home entertainment and furniture packages from Myer Wagga, valued at $5000 and $3000 respectively.

The art union draw is at 11am on Saturday at Thomas Bros in Dobney Avenue, and a family fun day has been planned, with  a jumping castle, face painting, sausage sizzle, slushies and other tasty treats.

Tickets are currently being sold outside the Baylis Street entrance to Myer and in the Wagga Marketplace.

To help last-minute buyers, an extra outlet will be set up over the last three days near the Bourke Street entrance to the Wagga showground, and it will be open from 7am to 6pm.

Alternatively, tickets – which are $5 – can be pre-purchased online at  www.kurrajong.com.au until 5pm on Friday or by phoning Kurrajong on 6932 6010.

People who buy books of 10 or 20 tickets in the same name also enter a book buyer’s draw, with a $1000 or $2000 Myer Wagga shopping spree up for grabs.

This is the 36^th year Kurrajong has run an art union, and in 1984 the organisation actually ran two.

“With such fabulous prizes on offer, there’s no easier way or better time to support Kurrajong’s valuable work in the community,” manager of the Kurrajong Foundation Cathie Smith said.

“With your help, Kurrajong will change the lives of people with disability and their families.”
