Charles Sturt University vice-chancellor Andrew Vann encouraged graduates to work together for a brighter tomorrow during the final graduation ceremony for the year on Wednesday.

The remarks came after the final Wagga students received their degrees for 2017.
“I entrust you to work collaboratively with others for the benefit of your profession and community,” Professor Vann said.
“Utilise the knowledge and skills you have acquired to live well and add to the nation’s common wealth and to the public good (and) remain connected to the university and your fellow graduates through (our) alumni network.”
Hundreds of students were given the “Charles Sturt University charge” at the end of the graduation ceremonies this week.
“But it’s not a financial charge,” Professor Vann jokingly remarked as he made his “dad joke”.
