CANDLE LIGHTING CEREMONY: The Compassionate Friends of Wagga will be launched at a Candle Lighting Ceremony where grieving families unite to remember their lost children.  This ceremony will be held in Collins Park 0n Sunday, December 10 gathering from 6.30pm for the hour-long candle vigil starting at 7pm.  In order to make the Candle Lighting Ceremony as personal and as meaningful as possible, organisers would love anyone wishing to attend to contact her with their child’s details – it is also OK to just turn up on the night.  Please bring a chair along. COMMUNITY BINGO: Community bingo conducted by Rotary Club of Coolamon on Thursday, December 14, at 7.30pm in Allawah Community Centre Hall, Coolamon. A special promo until Christmas -  every $5 bingo book purchased earns a ticket in the draw to win $400. Proceeds funding essential aged care equipment  for our District Hospital. Everyone welcome. PROSTATE SUPPORT:  Wagga Wagga Prostate Support Group meets on the second Thursday of each month at the RSL Club at 7pm. The group provides support and advice to those with prostate cancer together with their families. Contact 693 64210 (ah).

BOOK FAIR: The Rotary Club of Wagga Wagga Book Fair is May 5 and 6 and the club in now welcoming donations of books, sheet music, CDs and DVDs in good condition, suitable for resale. (But not encyclopaedias, video/sound tapes, magazines or material in poor condition.) Material can be left at Elders, Kincaid Street.
