Three Riverina inventors will fight it out among other creative minds as state finalists in Australia Post Regional Pitchfest.
Andrew Stevens from Agtribe, Michael Nixon from EduKits Australia and Olivia Skellern from Coach Me If You Can were named as three of the five state finalists.
Mrs Skellern’s equestrian background inspired her idea for online coaching from sporting coaches.
Users can upload a video of their performance in any sport and professional coaches will review it and provide online feedback on how to improve.
“I was so excited (to be announced as a finalist),” she said.
Mr Stevens’ business allows farmers the opportunity to rent, lend and hire machinery so they are not required to buy expensive equipment outright.
Teenager Michael was praised for his innovation last year when he was the winner in the Regional Pitchfest finals.
His business is based around 3D printing kits for children and classrooms with video tutorials and project books.
The three finalists will make their pitches to the live judging panel in Dubbo on July 5 for a share in $100,000 worth of prizes.
Winners will compete in the national final in Wagga on August 18.
