Michael is principal at Mabel Park High School in Queensland and he received individual recognition in the 25 years and over category for “his valuable contribution to supporting and promoting a united, harmonious and inclusive state community”.

KURRAJONG executives, staff and supporters are celebrating a stellar year. And why wouldn’t they with revenue for the year at $30.5 million, up 15 per cent on the previous year, an end of year surplus of $1.6 million and an expenditure increase of 14 per cent.
Government funding of nearly 70 per cent, Kurrajong run social enterprises, and donations played a major part in this year’s success story. Everyone involved in helping Kurrajong cater for and absorb dis-abled people into our communities deserves a big pat on the back.
