Mr Wilson took up his new role as deputy principal of the Wagga Christian College on Thursday and said he has encountered nothing but friendliness, not just as he prepared for this current role, but also while he was visiting as part of his Masters studies through Charles Sturt University.
“It’s great because so much of this job is about relationships,” he said.
Mr Wilson was previously the deputy principal at Mailtland Christian School, a role he had filled since 2013.
“I love working in regional schools,” he said.
Mr Wilson and his wife Sonya have four children aged between seven and 14, who will be attending the Christian College.
