ULYSSES
NOT a lot has happened over the past week with rain wiping out the Wednesday ride of last week and no scheduled ride for last Sunday.
While the day was rather cool the sun shone I am sure there would have been one or two who ventured out to find a coffee shop.
However the troops did meet up at Billy’s on Saturday morning for a chat and to discuss the World’s affairs with no solution to the fixing the problems, we will leave that to Turnbull and Co.
On August 6 we meet up with Griffith and Albury/Wodonga for the annual feast at the Morundah Hotel.
Cost of the Bistro style meal at Morundah will be $30 and will include Sweets and tea and coffee.
Other drinks are available at the bar.
August 19 it’s off to The Temora Aviation Museum where they will be having a fly day.
This is always a good event and food and drink is no problem, being available on site.
On Sunday, September 3 the ride will take in Tumbarumba, Tooma, Corryong and Jingellic, returning home through Holbrook and Mangoplah
Of course, weather permitting, there is always the Wednesday rides which leaves Billy’s Café at 9:30am.
The destination for the day is discussed over a cup of coffee and the flip of a coin.
Once again see if you can round up some new recruits to help bolster our ranks.
Give us a call on 0408 420 766 or ring the National Office, in Narellan on 1300 134 123 or 02 4647 7772.
There are lots of good reasons to join and make like-minded friends all over Australia.
Hopefully the weather will start to improve and we can start to enjoy some warm sunshine.
