There was an abundance of goodwill on show as bags continued to mount for the annual Winter Warmth Appeal.
While the usual second-hand clothing, blanket and household donations were there to help the city’s most vulnerable through a cold winter, there was also plenty of brand new items purchased for the cause.
Wagga Rotary Club committee chairman Tony Hutchinson said families in need would be filled with joy when they received the donations.
“So many people aren’t as advantageous as others and are sleeping rough,” Mr Hutchinson said.
“They don’t have the warm clothing they need and we are here to help them out, the generosity has been terrific.”
