The 34-member group is collecting canned food for charity to try for a wildcard entry in the grand final of Bring It On. Despite a strong weekend performance, they didn’t make the next stage.
Judy Solomon, the school’s Aboriginal community engagement officer, said the students only have until Friday to gather their donations of tinned food, which will be given to the Salvation Army.
“They did really really well, especially as they had to travel from so far away,” Ms Solomon said. “But now we have a chance for a wildcard entry into the grand final in September.”
Donations can be left at the school.
