About 350 students from more than 20 regional schools spent Thursday putting the finishing touches on an extensive performance program of 38 items.
A highlight of each festival is the presentation of the Thomas Bradley Encouragement Award and the announcement of students selected for state dance ensembles.
Wagga High School teacher Kat Fisher, one of the co-ordinators of the festival, said students had been working hard to get ready.
"It’s a fantastic festival. It really celebrates dance students and brings the students together.”
There will be two performances at the Wagga Civic Theatre at 12.30pm and 7pm.
