Stef Edson and her team at Heavenly Hair, Skin and Nails have decided to do a fancy dress fundraiser each week, donating the money raised to a good cause.

“The first one is for the asthma foundation,” Ms Edson said.

“Everyone will wear pyjamas and we’re getting all our clients to wear their PJs too and make a gold coin donation to charity.

“We’re going to do it every week until we run out of ideas.”

Next week’s diabetes fundraiser will see the team trade their pyjamas for “70s hippy gear” and by all reports, the staff and clientele are excited to dress up for charity.

“I think it’s definitely important for businesses to give back to the community,” Ms Edson said.
