Mia Stewart was born with an incredibly rare condition that left her hip and femur underdeveloped.
A host of donated items were sold at a big car park sale in Turvey Park to help send the three-year-old to America for life-changing treatment.
Mia’s mother Leila Bright said the family hoped Mia’s Big Carpark Sale at Bright Smiles would raise “at least a couple of grand” towards a $300,000 goal.
She said the family were “so grateful” to everyone who donated their belongings, baked and helped on the day.
“We’ve been really lucky so far,” Ms Bright said. “We just want to say a big thank you to everyone for their support. It means the world to us.”
Ms Bright said tickets to Mia’s Mystic Midwinter Ball would soon be available for purchase.
