The home side won in convincing fashion by 94 runs to celebrate its first title since the 2008/09 season.
It also repeated the result of the last HDCA grand final played at Yerong Creek, when TRYC also defeated Holbrook in 2000/01 season.
TRYC skipper Todd Hannam was presented with the Maher Family Shield post-match – just the third time TRYC has won that shield.
Steve Jolliffe who missed the semi-final win over Henty, made a brilliant return being named man of the match after top scoring with 83.
Many were surprised when Holbrook, after winning the toss, decided to bowl first in a decision that the home side took advantage of.
They lost an early wicket, but this brought Jolliffe to the crease, and he, along with Todd Hannam, proceeded to mount a big partnership.
The pair added 153 before Hannam was dismissed for a superb 69, Jolliffe followed 10 runs later to give Holbrook a slight amount of momentum.
Some good late order batting by Benson Williams (23) and all-rounder Tom Yates (28no) raised the total to a very healthy 5/213 off its 40 overs.
Bailey Parker was a standout bowler for Holbrook taking 1/16 off eight, while Corey McCarthy 0/24 off six overs contained the middle order.
The Brookers in reply were going along okay at 1/38, before the loss of four quick wickets reduced them to 6/63 and its premiership dream all but over.
Captain Dylan Fairall tried hard to get the runs ticking over with 42, while Coby Ross (21), Hamish Mackinlay (12) and (Parker (12) assisted well.
Yates was the star for TRYC taking 4/16 off five overs, while Oscar Willis claimed 3/15 to complete a terrific season.
Despite the loss the young Holbrook team has unearthed some very promising talent and with the oldest player being 26 they have a bright future.
Jolliffe completed his excellent game by taking a wicket and holding two crucial catches.
He was presented with his man of the match by the umpires.
All players and officials were full of praise for the superb presentation of the wicket at Yerong Creek, led by Ben Willis and his team.

LOCKHART won its second straight Division Two grand final when it again beat Holbrook at Lockhart Sportsground by 99 runs.
Holbrook were made pay for a shoddy fielding display that had eight catches dropped including two off man of the match Jim Mitchell.
Mitchell was dropped on nought and went on to make 73 as Lockhart amassed 7/163 off its allocated 35 overs.
Jeremy Sykes with 21 and Luke Murray (20) provided excellent support after also being sent into bat by Holbrook skipper Ben McKenna.
McKenna certainly did his bit with the ball taking 4/14, while Jackson Gibbs bowled superbly taking 2/23 off seven overs.
In reply the Brookers never got going at any stage with a constant flow of dismissals seeing them eventually bowled out for just 64.
Lachie Trethowan top scored with 18, while hard hitting Scott Lister was the only other bat to make double figures with 10.
Oscar Smyth was chief destroyer for Lockhart taking 4/14, while Mitchell and Zac Burkinshaw both took two wickets.
