Ulysses
THINGS have been a bit quiet the last week or so due to the extreme temperatures that have been pounding us. Les, Terry and Dean Godfrey went off into the hills last week while the weather wasn’t too punishing. Dean is a new recruit to our shores and we welcome him and his wife to our band of Bike Riders.
Terry has found a new job but we aren’t permitted to say what it is all about yet - all top secret and mysterious, however I do believe he has had to buy a new wheelbarrow to collect his pay in!!
There was a good roll up on Saturday at the weekly Meet and Greet and the sudden drop in temperature brought some welcome relief. No official rides were scheduled for over the weekend but with the nice cool days on Saturday and Sunday I did notice quite a few bikes out and about.
Our next ride is on Sunday 19th but a destination has yet to be determined, however turn up at McDonald’s car park in Edward Street on Sunday at about 8.30am and all will be revealed.
Next Tuesday (21st) is our first Branch meeting for the year so come along and enjoy some fellowship and find out what’s going on. If you need to know more call us on 0408 420 766.
