Riding a horse she bred and trained herself – Mooredun Smart Lil Chic – she won the limited non-pro futurity, intermediate non-pro futurity and was reserve champion in the non pro futurity.
The wins were all the more sweet for the Wagga rider who had prepared her horse during the wettest winter in 25 years.
“It was only a last minute decision to go … I didn’t think we were prepared enough, but my family and friends talked me into it,” she said.
Mrs Moore said it was her first futurity and third national show in her 15-year reining career.
“I am still pinching myself, I can’t believe it,” she said.
