That is the opinion of experienced Leeton-Whitton on-baller Toby Conroy, along with the Riverina League coaches.
Klemke was a runaway winner of the Riverina League Player of the Year award, voted weekly by coaches, and will head into the Quinn Medal vote count as hot favourite.
Conroy is also expected to feature high in polling after another brilliant season for the Crows but he believes Klemke will be hard to top.
“Jayden Klemke’s had a fantastic year and I think he will be pretty hard to beat,” Conroy said.
“He’s turned himself into a pretty valuable player with a lot of strings to his bow.”
Conroy, 33, is in his second season back at his home club, Leeton-Whitton, and has quickly established himself as one of the best ball-winners in the competition.
He is happy with his season but is not worried about individual medals.
“It’s been pretty solid, I’m happy with my consistency,” Conroy said.
“As a team we have been a little bit inconsistent. I’ve tried to lead some of the younger blokes around and am happy we have won enough games to give ourselves a chance at the end of the year.”
With the Crows facing a preliminary final showdown with Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes on Sunday, Conroy is one Leeton-Whitton player that knows what is required to win a premiership.
Conroy has won flags at Sandringham in 2004 and Queanbeyan in 2012. He has enjoyed returning to finish his career at the Crows.
“It’s been good. I always said when I left that I would come back for a year before I finished up and that’s turned into a couple now,” he said.
“I’m just taking it a year at a time but it’s been good to come back and play with blokes that I used to play with, and help the club out a little bit.”
