The 21-year-old sign writer at Khan Signs won gold at the regional competition last year.
Miss Kearney will compete in Melbourne in October over three days and be required to wrap the side of a vehicle, fabricate a light box, complete a computer design and a mystery speed test.
“I really want to get out there that girls can do it,” she said.
“I want to improve my skills and become a role model for girls and the industry.”
Miss Kearney has been practising three hours a week at work and has been supported by her employees and sponsors.
She is hoping to obtain a scholarship for work placement overseas.
