At The Leisure Company participants have the opportunity to select staff based on shared interests, creating a truly individualised service.
We work closely with our local community to improve inclusion of people with a disability.
Participants have access to mainstream opportunities; which increases social inclusion and community integration.
Post School Programs at The Leisure Company offers a choice of both individual and small group activities.
The participant can choose to work with others who share similar goals and interests.
Whether you access our Community Participation Program or our two year Transition To Work Program, you will have the opportunity to explore the extensive, and ever growing, professional partnerships The Leisure Company has with a variety of community groups, services and organisations.
Ashley’s story
Ashley left school in 2013 and joined The Leisure Company for his Transition to Work Program.
Ashley accesses a number of activities with support, improving work and life skills, vocational education and recreation activities, by taking advantage of our innovative and flexible programs.

Ashley was able to select the staff that best suited his need and interests, providing Ashley the opportunity to reach his goals.
Ashley has recently achieved a significant gaol by completing an Introduction to Welding course at TAFE leading to a supported work placement at Byrne Trailers, where he is welding up a storm.
