The Wagga Post School Options Expo is the first step for many young people with a disability to explore what life looks like after school.
The 2016 expo, aimed at high school students from years 9 to 12, will help them gain the information they need to access support and transition into work programs, advocacy, and recreation activities, that are right for them.
Expo co-ordinator Lisa Parnell says it isn’t just students and school leavers who can benefit from attending the event.

“Teachers, carers and family members will get a lot of the event,” she said. “Teachers who are guiding their students are amazed at the choices available, and parents and carers are also reassured and relieved to know there is so much support and numerous post-school options available.”
Twenty-one exhibitors will be present, along with a representative of the NDIS who is able to provide information on its roll out into the region in mid-2017.
