Conditions were quite calm although the odd change caught a few out.
Light was subdued from the cloud bringing the rain on Sunday.
In F Class there was a close tussle between Rob Jeffery and Neville Lyons with Rob taking it out on centres.
Similarly in Target Rifle Scott Brindley and Phil Bain swapped fortunes in the first and second stage with Scott coming out on top on centres.
Trahlon Lyons continues to improve rapidly and put in a very respectable 47.4 in his second stage.
Jeremy Westblade also shot well for a total score of 96.6.
And Harry Veness had a good first shoot at 900 Yards.
The Riverina District Champion of Champions event was cancelled on Sunday due to the rain.
It now looks like being held at Cootamundra next Saturday.
Still checking with other clubs so will confirm when we know for sure.
Likely to be two stages at 700 and two stages at 900 Yards.
Scorers and assistants are required so if you can assist and come to Cootamundra please let me know.
If confirmed next Saturday will be a practise day at Lockhart.
And don’t forget on Sunday will be the Riverina DRA Prize Meeting also at Cootamundra on Sunday the 15th May.
Next week’s shoot will be a practice. (Was 1000 Yards)
