Fit right in

FLEX-IT Gym’s focus on fitness has reached new heights with the introduction of campuses for aspiring personal trainers.

The Hammond Avenue-based gym has teamed up with the Australian Institute of Personal Training to deliver four campuses a year for those interested in entering the health industry.

Flex-It’s courses are different from others as the whole campus is delivered at the gym, with the emphasis on practical training.

“The aim with our students is to bring them up to a level that when they have finished the campus with us, they are not only qualified to certificate four in fitness but also have a good practical grounding and are confident in how to train clients,” Flex-It’s Mark Bishop said.

“Being a personal trainer is all about making a positive difference ... a difference in your own life and the lives of others.”
