RAAF Base Wagga is among a number of organisations and businesses in the city which will throw its support behind Daffodil Day on Friday.
Donations will be taken at the front gate, while merchandise will be sold on base and 10 RAAF trainees will walk Wagga's CBD collecting money. "We are so lucky the RAAF School of Technical Training makes available volunteers for the day," organiser Matt Bundy said.
There will be 22 sites in Wagga from the airport to Charles Sturt University and Bunnings selling merchandise. Items for sale include fresh daffodils, pens, balls, Dougal bears, diamante brooches, donation cards and even USB drives.
