SOME Wagga residents are "driven round the bend" by the standard of drivers in the city.
The critics are scathing - particularly in the Thumbs Up Thumbs Down column - of unsafe behaviour behind the wheel.
But Kathy Halbisch has come to the defence of motorists, praising them for the care they show her when she is riding her scooter.
Kathy is seen around Wagga on her white 250 Honda Spacy after upgrading from "a little red scooter".
"The people are always so friendly," Kathy said.
