DOWN to the developer of the proposed school at San Isidore for their complete lack of community consultation with the residents to which this school will have a major impact on.
Their total disregard for the longstanding residents shows their total disrespect for this small rural village.
Not once has the developer, of their own volition, tried to consult with the residents of San Isidore.
Is this a sign of things to come? (Contributed)
UP to the many people who helped out Norm Rynehart, a droving legend who has gone on an extended trip to greener pastures.
Many thanks to the emergency department at Wagga Base Hospital, wards two and three, the intensive care unit and high dependency ward five.
Up to all the doctors – too many to name – who gave Norm much-needed attention, the Wagga Rehabilitation Unit, Kincaid Medical Centre, Royal Prince Alfred and St Vincent’s Hospital, Wagga ambulances and taxi drivers, Father Thomas Casanova, John Bance and son Scott, the Crematorium Chapel and Northside Pharmacy.
Not to forget Norm’s extended family and friends at the Home Tavern, especially John Mc.
Please accept this as our personal thanks from his family.
As Norm would say “Well, you can now go”. (Contributed)
DOWN to the cat owners who do not keep them at home or have them desexed.
I have an old dog out in the back yard which if I left roam, would end up in the dog pound.
Why must I have countless numbers of cats invading my garden, my porch and on my outside chairs, knocking over pot plants and chasing birds?
I am not talking one cat – I am frequented by two kittens and a mum cat, by one dark grey, one light grey, one white, one brown and white and any others who decide to call and fight and squat and sleep at the front of my home.
If I did anything to them the RSPCA would fine me, but oh for the days of the slingshot. (Contributed)
