WAGGA City Council wants to hear your views on an alcohol management strategy for the city.
Council has launched a survey on the important issue in the wake of entering into a partnership with the Australian Drug Foundation to develop a strategy for the Wagga Local Government Area.
The survey will provide residents with the chance to make a difference to their community by contributing information which will influence a topic directly affecting their lives.
"For positive change to occcur in our community, it is essential to capture as many different perspectives on alcohol-related issues as possible," mayor Kerry Pascoe said. "This opportunity has been devised to gauge the thoughts of local residents to help define the key concerns of the community.
"The survey looks at what people believe are the contributing factors to alcohol-related issues in the city and what measures could be best implemented to reduce the number of incidences in the city."
Survey results will be incorporated with information gathered from focus groups and a "Drop in and share a thought" workshop to form the alcohol management strategy.
The workshop will be held in the council meeting room from 11am to 4pm on March 27.
