BICYCLE WAGGA
RUMOUR has it that the Hills Ride has had more than a few out undertaking secret and some not so secret training rides.
Well, the test will come this weekend.
On Saturday, we will head to Jingellic via Holbrook.
After lunch then it’s off to Tumbarumba and for those with energy still to burn the final kick up to Laurel Hill.
Sunday’s return route will be different to past years due to flood damage.
We will pass through Rosewood, Carabost and Humula.
If you need any details then please contact Lindsay Wilson on 0419 611 424 as soon as possible.
The very pleasant weather of late has meant that the regular rides are drawing good numbers.
Hopefully weather this will extend through up to, and including, Easter.
Once again Bicycle Wagga will be conducting a series of rides over the Easter break.
More details about this next week.
Until then, keep on cycling.
On Wednesdays, meet at 9am at the Kooringal Mall for the Coffee Grinders Ride.
This is a ride of about two hours and is followed by morning tea.
Saturday sees the B4 Breakfast Ride also kick off from the Kooringal Mall for those that are not able to avail themselves of the Hills Ride.
Meet there to leave at 7:30am.
If the Wagga Beach is still inundated on Sunday meet as near as possible to entrance in Johnston Street so that you are ready to ride off at 2pm.
Kerrie Cullis will be there to lead the ride.
