AFTER the second round of the Monday night ladies doubles spring comp, in the A grade, Bendigo Bank on 11 have moved into the lead, followed by CSU Print and Origin Energy both on 6, Marceau Jewellery on 5, and Hertz on 4.
In the A Reserve grade Doves and Hot Shots have taken the outright lead on 15, followed by Krispy Kremes and Brucedale both on 12, Doves on 10, Riccadonnas on 9, Movers & Groovers on 3, Friends on 2 and both Hot & Cold on 1.
In the B grade, Decrepids are still in front on 14, followed by Pink Ladies on 13, Chirpy Chicks on 9, Gil Mathew Steel on 8, Sherbets on 4, and Market Place Girls on 0.
After the first round of the Tuesday night men’s doubles Luke Gaynor and Ben Newton are on top on 50, followed by Anthony Metcalf and Craig Bellamy on 45, Daniel Burns and Sebastian Wrobel on 40, Mark Booth and Howard Hocking on 35, Noel Thomson and Ben Beck on 30, Matt Mangan and Wayne Rodham on 25, Les Barker and Ryan Barry on 20, and Ash Manion and Darren Lang on 15.
After the 2nd round of the Wednesday night mixed doubles spring comp, in the A grade, Exclusively Strata on 15 have seized the lead, followed by Champions on 14, Sportsmans Warehouse on 9, Pacers on 6, Frequent Flyers on 4, with Kings and Big Steel both on 0.
In the A Reserve grade, Aces on 15 have moved out in front, followed by Victors on 9, Juice Bar and Mariens New both on 8, Slams and Swingers both on 7, Broken Strings and Mariens Old both on 1, and Small Steel on 0.
After the first round of the Thursday night singles ladder, on top are Evan Marceau, Ben Newton, James Ballentyne and Ben Munston.
The final standings of the Saturday morning junior ladder, taking into account season averages and requirement to have played 50 per cent of rounds were Matthew Hort 1st followed by Nathan Faust, Edward Jude, Todd Roberts, Oliver Reynolds, Harry Byrne, Paddy Byrne, Andrew Lord, Bradley Wetton and Ben Carmichael.
Entries have now closed for the 2010 Bendigo Bank Riverina Open tournament which takes place this coming long weekend at the Jim Elphick tennis centre – come along and watch all the action.

Last Saturday was the last competition game of tennis remaining for this term in both junior tennis competitions at the Forest Hill courts.
The competitions will resume after the school holidays October 16.
The masters competition is for the player wanting more serious tournament play, with proper tie-breaker sets being played.
There is prizemoney for the top 20 players in the competition for all players having played five matches, as well as a best and fairest award.
To take part just turn up before the start time of 12.30pm until 3pm finish.
Leading the masters competition is Corey Toole on 30 points with Julia Adamcewicz on 29 points and Taylah Holmes on 28 points then Jackson Holmes on 23 points lastly Aaron Wilson on 22 points making up the top five places.
The junior tennis competition is open to all juniors wanting to play tennis in a friendly relaxed format, and is their first steps to playing competition.
All players should be able to serve to take part.
Leading the junior tournament is Alex Grant on 42½ points closely followed by Jackson White and Karl Hemmings tied on 40 points then Nick Reeves on 29 points and Leon Hemmings on 27½ points making up the top five place getters.
At the end of both competitions there will be a best and fairest award.
Winners of the McDonald’s sports awards for the masters competition were Julia Adamcewicz, Marcus Penton, Ryan Nicolle and Jack Woods.
Winners for the junior tournament were Nick Reeves, Jackson White, Montanna Brownfield and Jade Caskie.
