EASTER means different things to different people, whether it's a religious occasion or a time for family and friends.
Identical twins Tom and Drew Martin, 13, look forward to Easter for two main reasons - school holidays and chocolate.
Tom said the boys had a tradition of "camping in the backyard" during the holidays, but didn't have much planned at this stage.
Instead, the boys said they were just looking forward to having a break from school.
Mum Jacqui said the boys often tried to steal each other's chocolate, but a strategy was in place to make sure they knew which eggs belonged to each family member.
"The Easter Bunny actually colour-codes the egg hunt," she said.
Chocolate and hot cross bun sales are expected to soar this week in the lead-up to Easter, with this Friday marking Good Friday.
But Easter came early to a number of Wagga schools with a visit from some special guests last week.
The Easter Bunny and Alice in Wonderland visited seven primary schools across Wagga on Wednesday and Thursday last week to thank year one and two students for decorating more than 500 Easter eggs, which are on display at the Wagga Marketplace.
