THE tally has surpassed $44,000 and is still climbing for the Cargill Cares cancer awareness committee.
Several fundraising activities organised by the Cargill Beef Australia committee have netted $44,460.80, which was presented to the Cancer Council during Relay For Life activities at the weekend
And the amount is set to climb further with the final major fundraiser - a raffle with an impressive prize list.
The winner will receive a wheelbarrow filled with prizes worth $2000, while second will claim a 12-month gym membership at Xceler8 valued at $645.
Tickets are $2 each or three for $5, and can purchased by calling Cargill or from committee members selling at the Wagga Marketplace.
Cargill Cares will be represented at the Baylis Street entrance to the Marketplace on April 4 and at the bottom of the travelator on April 15.
