IT WILL be a baking bonanza as culinary skills of generations are put to the test to see who will rise to the occasion at the annual Bake-Off.
Roseleigh Manor in conjunction with the regions Country Woman's Association (CWA) will host the annual Bake-Off on Thursday June 25, which has proven to be a success in previous years.
The event provides participants of all ages with an opportunity to showcase their entries in a range of categories.
Participants can enter any of the five categories which include biscuits, scones, slices, cakes and the creative open section.
Entries on the day will be judged on presentation, taste, aroma, cooking methods and creativity by three impartial judges with entries also available to the general public.
On the day the Rose and Willow Restaurant will be offering a two-course buffet meal for $23 per person, with $3 from each meal being donated to the CWA.
Included in the $23 is admission to the tasting room for dessert, a great way to sample the delights of the day and once judging is complete guests will have the chance to purchase the winning entries at a dutch auction.
All proceeds from the day will be donated to a charity selected by the CWA.
Entry forms and lunch bookings for the day of the bake off can be obtained from Roseleigh Manor on 6928 4420 or call into their office in the Australian Arcade.
