HE'S a fair dinkum Aussie in every sense of the word.
Austin Teakel is known to his family, friends and footy teammates as Aussie and he will proudly answer to the nickname next Tuesday on Australia Day.
With a love for sport, the beach and vegemite on toast, the name sits perfectly with the 18-year-old.
"What I like the best about Australia is its landscape," Aussie said.
"I really enjoy riding my motorbike around the Riverina and seeing the countryside and how it changes from season to season."
Aussie, who plays Australian football for The Rock-Yerong Creek, plans to spend next Tuesday in a typically Australian way.
"I'm going with a group of mates to the Wagga races," Aussie said.
