Thumbs urp from St Joseph's

UP to the Wagga City Library for special use of the library facilities until the school library is re-established.

UP to Telstra and Country Energy for responding so rapidly and so comprehensively to the needs of the relocated school.

UP to the Commonwealth Bank for very generous financial and physical support.

UP to the cleaning teams from JOSS Constructions for ensuring a clean, healthy and fresh environment for the commencement of new classes.

UP to Q Stores for collating an unusually large re-order of school supplies at very short notice.

UP to the Junee Aquatic centre for adjusting the scheduled booking at short notice and to Fearnes Coaches

for providing additional transport at no cost.

UP to the technicians and tradesmen who cleaned, installed, relocated and constructed a vast array of items at very short notice.

UP to the proprietors of the Indian Tavern Tandoori Restaurant for offering support in a range of forms.

UP to many schools and teachers from Wagga and throughout the region who have offered furniture, resources, teaching aids, support materials and technical expertise to help re-establish the school. Your generosity has ensured that teaching and learning will continue with no more disruption than is absolutely necessary and the school community is very grateful for your thoughtful responses to our needs.

UP to Steve Mullins of Riverina Crane and Towing for organising and managing storage, debris removal and site cleaning so efficiently it seemed to happen before we knew about it.

UP to Kim Nash for renovating Joseph and Josephine, the school mascots. They are looking very smart and have renewed significance in our school.

UP to Lou Dogao and the staff of St Joseph’s Primary School. As a team they have stayed true to their promises of ensuring the safety of the students and maintaining the quality of teaching and learning in the school. They have demonstrated amazing resilience, energy, commitment and humour in trying times. They have listened with compassion to the anxieties of the parents and the students while quietly managing their own misgivings. The children of St Josephs are in very good hands and the parents are very grateful. Thank you.
