UP to the council. Moving to new premises is often a stress but one problem we had was solved with great efficiency. There was a hole in the footpath at the entrance to our new office which is near the railway station. We called the city council and it was not long before a supervisor arrived to check the problem and a couple of days later the friendly tar patching team arrived and “bingo” it was fixed. Well done and thanks. (Contributed)
UP to all of the pupils wearing hats in the photo of St Joseph’s school assembly recently. Thumbs down to the adults not wearing hats, particularly the man of some apparent authority in the foreground of the photo. (Contributed)
UP to the anonymous person who donated a sizable amount of money to me, and also the wonderful people of Wagga Base Hospital and the wider community who have also donated money and goods towards helping me rebuild my life after my first home was burned down on December 31. Your generosity has been outstanding and you have restored my faith in humanity. Thank you all so much. (Contributed)
UP to the Red Pomegranate in the Neslo Arcade. What a fantastic shopping experience! I was very surprised at the range and the quality of the organic food and gifts. The service was equally impressive. What an asset to Wagga. Keep up the good work. (Contributed)
UP and a huge thank you to two very kind people for helping out a frantic new mum. Recently at a local doctors surgery I was
struggling to fold up the baby pram, when I was approached by a wonderful young mum who kindly set about folding up my pram, while I comforted my crying little newborn. This mum was herself attempting to get two gorgeous children home and I know how precious time is when you’re a mum, so I thank you for giving me some of yours. In the exact same situation at the local RTA, a
big thank you to the gentleman who kindly offered and assisted, despite needing to
get back to work. Your time and kindness is appreciated beyond belief. Down to the silly new mummy who doesn't pay enough attention to her husband when he shows her how to operate the pram! (Contributed)
