UP to the best baby shop in Wagga, Cotmakers and to the lovely and enchanting couple who own it. They are always so friendly and welcoming to every customer (and to many children) who enter. I have come to trust their advice and suggestion and love the way they answer all my questions and share their stories with me whenever I, a first time mother, have had a concern. All the children are entertained and nothing is ever a hassle. They have been very good to me and I wish them all the best of luck in the future. (Contributed)

UP to the paper for publishing my item on older drivers being failed to pass their driving test by RTA driving instructions. This 85 aged group would be the majority of Australia’s voluntary workers and I know many having difficulty getting around without their cars. These citizens are very important in every town and city. This enriches their lives by enabling them to get out and meet people while working in the community. Thank you. (Contributed)

UP to the honest person who returned my daughter’s wallet and bag to the police station after being left at the Movies by Moonlight. She had been saving for her new phone and had all her money in her wallet. Our faith has been totally renewed by your honesty. A very big heartfelt thank you. (Contributed)

UP to Dennis from Riverina Water. After driving past and noticing I had locked my keys in my vehicle, he came back and offered his assistance. A big thank you also to Doug who came to both our rescues and got the door open. I can’t thank you both enough for all your help. (Contributed)

UP to the kind lady who handed my bag in at Duffy’s Fruit Market on Wednesday, January 23. Once again, thank you so much. (Contributed)

UP to Tim at Spick ‘n’ Span Car Wash and the mechanic at Bousfield Automotive (both in Railway Street) for their help recently. It was 39 degrees and my two small children and I were vacuuming the car. As I endeavoured to start the car to move it forward into the car wash, it wouldn’t start. They spent almost an hour in the heat attending to it while I supervised my children. Thank you very much for all your help. (Contributed)

UP to the lovely cleaning ladies at the Sturt Mall who rescued the parcels we left on a chair, while our minds were elsewhere minding grandchildren. When I returned some hours later, it was a wonderful surprise to find they were in honest, capable hands. Thanks. (Contributed)

UP to my neighbours in the Tolland area. During a recent weekend, while I was not home, my smoke alarm was activated, and a very considerate person notified the fire brigade. Another neighbour then rang me to inform me of what was happening. It is so reassuring to know that the neighbourhood keeps an ear and eye out for things out of the ordinary. Your kind actions were very much appreciated. Thumbs up also to the fire brigade for your prompt response and communication. (Contributed)

UP to the good samaritan who found my wallet on the footpath outside my house recently, and took it inside and left it at the door. A refreshing change from the behaviour of the aliens who normally frequent the neighbourhood. (Contributed)

Up the the wonderful supervisor and dedicated instructors of the Swimsafe program at the Oasis. Their geninue love of swimming is obvious. They have created a wonderful atmosphere encouraging all to enjoy and respect the water. The mums are having a good time too. (Contributed)

UP to Pauline and lovely Yvonne for selling me tickets in the Kurrajong-Waratah Art Union raffle. It was so good to purchase these tickets from these two ladies who really enjoy doing this work for Kurrajong-Waratah. (Contributed)

UP to the hero who rescued me when I was stranded with a flat tyre in Trail Street last week. You just happened to be passing by but you were only too willing to spring into action when you saw a person in need. Despite being burdened with an antiquated jack, you made light work of a testing task in steamy weather conditions. I just hope your kind act is repaid a thousand times over in the years to come. UP and a big thank you to Roseleigh Manor and most especially Brian of Phoenix Limousines for making our mother’s Christmas present a truly magical experience!

Brian kept the surprise for us and went above and beyond the call of duty in ensuring our mother had no idea of where she was going until she arrived at the property. Our mother enjoyed her day spa experience, her stay, her limousine ride and her meal. (Contributed)

UP to the wonderful staff at the pathology department of Macquarie Pathology at the base hospital. It is practically a pleasure to have some blood tests done with these lovely ladies. The are caring, cheerful and compassionate at all times. (Contributed)
