DOWN to the organisers of the AFL match at Narrandera for the lack of options to purchase tickets. Wagga patrons wishing to purchase tickets before 10am and after 5pm at the local club selling tickets were turned away days before the match and on game day the only place Wagga patrons could

buy tickets was from the

gate on the evening which

also means having to wait in line for a longer period of time. This also means driving hundreds of kilometres on the whim tickets might actually still be available. DOWN to the closure of the Ashmont Pharmacy. This was an unexpected blow to the community. There are many frail-aged folk here and many young families who have used this facility. We pride ourselves in the “fair go” in this country, but this is far from it. It would seem that money and its old friend greed are in this together, with no consideration given to the customers. We don’t wish to go to Glenfield, and furthermore, we can’t get there! This community sticks together and we consider this to be the lowest kick in the guts we have ever had. (Contributed)
